Yes, if it's just light rain we can go surfing... As we say, you’re going to get wet anyway! Some of the best waves come with the rain! Our lessons are held rain, hail or shine. The only reason we will cancel if the conditions are dangerous or the rain is heavy we may need to reschedule the surf session.

We have two main seasons here. Small wave season and big wave season. Small wave season usually starts around April or May and continues until September when hurricane season starts and we get big waves most of the winter.

We suggest wearing comfortable fit swimwear and maybe something extra like a Lycra rash vest or a tshirt to protect against the sun & board rash. Minor kids should wear longsleeve swim wear & a hat if needed. We have rash vests and also wetsuit tops for Winter time for Adults to borrow. And please bring your own towel.

Our lesson price includes everything you need for the class: surfboard, rash-vest and sunscreen. Bring your towel and change of clothes if needed.
